Default Corrosion on running boards

I am getting some pitting on my factory running boards.
Are they covered by warranty?
I have 41K on the truck

I don't think so. I had my front bumper replaced because of rust but that was because it was happening to so many trucks Dodge decided to start replacing them. You can check with your dealership though. They would know. I'm pretty sure it would only be covered if they installed them though.

Call the dealer and ask them, i believe they only cover them for one year from the date of purchase.

I was under the impression that if you ordered them when you ordered the truck they were covered under warranty. If you had them installed some time after you took delivery from the dealer they only had 1yr warranty. My dealer covered them with the same problem on my old Ram with 45,000k on the truck 2yrs after I recieved it (they were installed prior to my taking delivery). I would check though. My dealer has exceptional customer service so I wouldn't be surprised either if they simply covered it for customer satisfaction purposes.

Dealer replaced mine last week. I have a 2009 with 12000 miles. They also replaced the glass in my sunroof to stop a leak.
