uConnect on the 09's (searched already)

My (standard) radio has the uconnect buttons, but is not equipped with it. I have the auto dimming mirror, do I just need the module to enable the uconnect? From what I've searched the old systems were basically apart of the mirror. My system seems more direct radio based, but I'm not sure where the mic would be if I have one (doubting I do).

For what its worth truck came with the 25L cust preferred pkg.

Are you referring to the uconnect phone? I know the standard radio can do it for about $200.

yes, the uconnect bt phone capabilities. Seems those with the older trucks/cars needed a whole lot more, but I wasn't sure since my radio had the ability, and it didn't seem to be directly related to the mirror. So I'm just not sure whats needed to get it working.

mirrors with auto dim only have nothing to do with unconnect, you will see the same buttons on the mirror as on the radio and the mics yes mics (dual) are built into mirror so we need module, wire from mirror to radio or module?? and mirror of course. Let me know how you make out what you had to do, I want it to me factory style too, there is an aftermarket setup the dealer uses that sucks. Don't go for that one

I looked at 1 Ram that did not have it and the dealer said they could add it for about 250 and they would include it free for me, but if I wanted to pay it was about $250 plus labor. I ended getting a fully loaded truck in the end so it did not matter.

Just a heads up you might want to look into whether or not it will be compatible before spending the money. It wasn't compatible with my iPhone (which only about 14 billion people own)

14 billion people with more money than BRAINS LOL J/K I can't believe how much people are paying for those. Over a hundred a month.Plus plus plus.

It would have to be completely blue tooth incomparable for that to happen. Which would basically defeat the whole reason its there. I use a developer android based phone anyway, not a silly iphone :P

Me too, my phone has Bluetooth and works with my Sony Deck in my 72 Chevy so I will lay odds it works with the Dodge. Such a crazy thing to not make it standard especially since mosts states and provinces are banning cells.
