cool, post some pics when they are on

bigred3297 May 14, 2009 08:15 PM

cant wait to see them on your truck, im thinking of doing the same on mine but with my stock rims powdercoated

c0mf0rt May 14, 2009 08:22 PM

Sounds good man.... won't the 12.5's be too large for the stock rims?

switchblade906 May 14, 2009 08:25 PM

no 12.5 will fit on a 9inch rim

Those Geolandars are supposed to be good in the snow. A buddy had them on his Silverado and liked them.

c0mf0rt May 14, 2009 08:35 PM

Yeah but the dealer sticker says the stock 17's are 7" and the 20's are 8" I thought.

switchblade906 May 14, 2009 08:39 PM

i dont think so cause the stock tire no matter what rim size is a 275

and the stock 20's are 9" not sure about the 17's

bigred3297 May 14, 2009 09:15 PM

17x8 and the 12.5 will fit fine, i've done it before and it makes for a real beefy looking tire
