My rear window slider won't close

Default My rear window slider won't close

Opened my rear window for a minute .. went to close it .. nothing .. it will open further but won't close .. i can pull it closed ... i have a piece of wood jammed against the side of the cab to keep the window closed until tomorrow when it gets looked at .. .. NY got 18 inches of snow at my house on the same day it broke .. go figure ..

anyone else have this problem ?

I had the same problem. The piece that holds the cable in place is broke. The mechanics of the slider is junk. imo The dealer took 3 weeks to get the right parts and when it was all said and done they had to get me a whole new window and have a glass company install it. Mine was covered under warranty.

This happened in the first month of me owning the truck.

Same here, under warr. they will have to replace the entire window assy.
