24's

looking at putting a set of 24's onto my truck! Just curious what the right size of tires to put on without rubbing are? I'm thinking the 285/40/24's so that there is still some sidewall for some comfort...

you guys with 24's what are you running and is there any rubbing? oh...and how is the ride?

hey whats up guys? i am running 305 30 24 on my hemi cc no rubbing..... rides great....i get a little rub when i slam on the brakes while taking hard turns...but other than that no problems

i already answered Joe in a PM before.. but i will repost the info here in case others might have the same question.

Yes my 24s rub a little at full lock... but my set up is different than others in that:

1: i use 285/40/24 tires... not the typical 305/35/24 that most use. By doing this my tire has more sidewall and is taller (33 inches compared to 32) and my tire is also narrower so they dont stick out past the fenders.

2: My truck is lowered 2" in the front... my set up didnt rub before i lowered it.
