Auto Dimming Stereo doesn't auto dim
 

i was at the dealership the other day because one of my key fobs quit working and i got to talking to another guy that was there.. he said he was there to get his radio looked at because the auto dimming feature doesn't work.. i checked mine after talking to him and mine doesn't work either. anyone else have a problem with the REN auto dimming feature?

I had that problem also. Turned out to be the dimmer switch by the lights. If it is all the way to the right the auto dim wont work. Try turning it to the left a little (out of the lock position) and see if that works tonight. You will be able to feel a little click when it all the way to the right, bring it back out of that and I bet your auto dim will work.
