Who has used a throttle body spacer on their Hemi?

I had them do any updates to the computer and then I asked about programmers...he said he could adjust the program settings for whatever the aftermarket programmers could do and if he did it, it would still be covered...I said cool and then it cost me $130.00 to have him do it. Pricey! but less hoops to jump through if anything goes wrong...

Wow I inquired about that with a tech that I know who would actually have the ability to do it but could not because it would show up someplace that he or whoever was signed on did it and well that is not an option is what I was told. But you guys all know you can drive down the street to the next dealer and he might take your 130 and tell you you are flashed and away you go and man all that power you feel.......they did nothing. Do you get to watch while they work on your trucks. I cannot go to where they are working, I love it when they work on it outside the doors at reception then I can cruise over and pick the dudes brain. I think I pick too much cuz they always end up just looking at me and saying I have to take this inside. So they we go around back and there he is outside LOL I roll over in my chair and say why didn't you just tell me to f off LOL. That breaks the ice. I have gotten lotsa info that way.
Sounds like those metal things you could buy and put in your intake hose. Claimed it would increase horsepower and reduce gas mileage by creating a swirling affect thus creating a more efficient burn of the gas! Can't remember what they were called.
I have an airaid throttle body spacer on my 2009 hemi ram. I noticed a small difference in power. At least 1 mpg increase in the city. In the summer I get 16.0 mpg in the city. When the truck shifts, at the top rpm's when it is about to shift it whistles...that's about it.
I got a poweraid tbs and an airaid CAI, put that in your truck in it wakes it up for sure. I felt a difference in throttle response and you just hear that air getting sucked in. pretty much sounds like a turbo. If you got money to waste then go ahead and buy it.
I have the aFe TBS and CAI, I noticed a improvment in acceleration and the nice growling sound, but I think it's more of the combo of the two than the TBS by itself. I think if you have a CAI the TBS will do more for you. Again, it's all about the amount of air and the temp of the air. The cooler the air the more power. The TBS helps with this as well. I think the aFe TBS was cheaper than what you're quoting for the airraid one though.
