IMHO the full bumper replacements only look good on big, mean lifted trucks. Especially black ones. The thread on here about 'just painted the truck' would look killer with the bumpers on it. Your little white truck would look like massive implants on a skinny chick. Nice bumpers, but too big for the body.

these guys don't have their '09-10 models ready yet, but the "stealth" models are nice looking enough to make me want to wait. especially the gray model on your truck. also matching rear bumpers.

4" lift kit and 35 grappler tires are on the way. That should help a lot

Heck yeah!! That's the setup I'll be shooting for myself- but might be with Cooper STTs. After the lift I'll definitely be looking for replacement bumper or grill guard- either way I'm putting something on the front end!! lol

Which lift are you going with?

If you must have one, go with a full on replacement. Should you end up hitting something with just a brush guard on, you'll be unimpressed with the fact that it will usually cause more damage compared to it not being there at all. What usually happens is that instead of messing up the bumper, you'll push that guard back into the body and mess much much more up. I believe that the whole bumper replacement units aren't as bad, but they can still cause more headaches vs a "bare" truck.

I have had grill guards on 3 3rd gen Dodges so far and am eager to put one on my 2012. I do NOT like the full width ones I have had the center section only models and tagged 5 deer between the 3 with no visible damage to any of them. I had Go Rhino on 2 and a Mopar unit on my last one and they were all strong enough and mounted well enough to do the job. BTW the deer in PA and WV are somewhat smaller than those out west, probably 125 pounds was the largest one so that might make a difference. Just my $.02.
