2008 20's will they fit?
so i've searched and have added a couple questions here and there but no answers. I'm trying to talk my buddy into switching rims and tires with me, he has an 08 quad and needs tires I have a 09 crew with clad 17's and the sensors on the stems. my question is will they fit, and does the 08 models have the valve stem sensors. and if they dont will it hurt my truck if i drive without the sensors until i get new tires. I think this is a even trade he hates his 20's and the cost of new tires so i offered my rims and new tires for his rims and bald tires

When I put my 22's on the Charger in the spring I would look at the tire pressure light on the dash till fall when I pulled them off and put the stock 20's back on. It wont hurt anything but the light will stay on. I also believe that trucks fitted with 20's have a bigger brake kit than the trucks with 17's........but I may be wrong

The 08 does not have tpms but the rims will fit just fine.
I was under the impression that all vehicles 2006 and beyond are required to have the TPMS.
tpms was only put on some models and not others thats what ive heard. my buddy is dragging his feet we were suppose to talk about it last night but he is hard to get ahold of. if he doesnt have tpms it doesnt matter ive got to get the 20's new tires anyway tire places can install tpms into the rims right?
o.k. if his 08 rims are not equipped with tpms do i have to get the 08 stems or the 09 system for my truck to read the pressure? and anybody with the parts number?
