Will 35" tires fit on my stock Ram?
 

I want put 35" X 12.50" tires on my stock 2010 4X4 Dodge Ram ST Quad Cab. The wheels are 17 X 8.5”. I was wondering if the 35” X 12.50” tires would fit on these wheels and fit on the truck. Can anyone advise if they have used this size tire on their 4th gen Ram? The truck is stock height. I have not put any lift or leveling kit on it yet. Although I may put a leveling kit on it in the future. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you.

Have an 09 and went to three diff places for estimates to get 33x12.5s on 20" wheels. They all told me I needed a 2.5" level kit at a min to make tires up to 35" fit. So i picked up a Daystar leveling kit on this forum, installed it myself, and got the tires and wheels put on same day. No rubbing or ride quality difference. Will completely transform the look of your truck for the better.

you definitely need a front leveling kit to fit 35's, might even want to throw a rear add a leaf or block in the rear while your at it. its not needed but I always liked keeping the factory rake for handling and hauling purposes. 35's definitely will not fit stock, i couldnt even fit 34's on my 2500

These trucks don't have leafs in the rear, but you will definitely need something to raise your truck up. You're not going to fit 35's on a stock truck. Maybe 33's, but not 35's.

thanks for the info i am looking at the nitto dune grappler DT or the kumho road venture MT tires with a 2.5 daystay leveling kit.

Yeah I thought about going with the leveling kit because it was so much cheaper of an option, but I've just heard too many horror stories. Some people can't even leave them on their trucks because the vibrations are so bad. I just manned up and decided to get the lift. I'll have a little extra money coming in, so I figured now would be a good time to do it. I don't know much about the Dune Grapplers, but I'm sure they're a good tire. I went with the Mud Grapplers myself, just because I like the more aggresive look. They have pretty good reviews as well, so that also factored in. I've never even heard of the Kumho tires so I can't offer any advice there. Have you looked at the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs? Those are awesome tires. Good on wet, dry, snow, mud anything. I'm pulling the trigger on my wheel/tire deal and I'm seriously concidering changing from the Mud Grapplers to the Duratracs. You should definitely look into them if you haven't already.

Ive got Nitto Trail Grapplers and theyre pretty quite but still agressive, i chose that tire because i do alot towing and was advised those because they are rated for towing which alot of mudders arent. Look into it

I had 35 inch nitto trails and a front 2inch spacer. Cleared fine.

You don't need a leveling kit for 33"s. Check mine....
I do want to get a level soon however.....

nice setup. What kind of rims are those and do you remember what offset they are.
