Lightbulb Interior dress up project!

So I got bored and noticed something that I feel would look good. Turns out, it did! So here it is:

I want to do the part below the a/c controls that says "Ram" but I can't figure out how to get that off yet. When I do its going to get the same set up. I used aluminum paint on the sides of the letters and then did insignia red, followed by boyd red (for a glossy look.) It would have turned out better but I'm having some issues with tremors and I'm having problems doing fine detail freehand now. I ended up using a hobby knife to scrape away any over paint that I did.

I put my Hemi (one of them) badge just under the RAM in question.

Thats an awesome idea also! Still have to figure out to get that ram plate off though, which is still eluding me.

Pretty neat idea. I might have to give mine a shot. Maybe to it all silver/gray to match the accents inside. I still can't believe they haven't made a RAM version of the tray. They went far enough to put a new logo on the back tailgate that removes Dodge from the top, but left this even in the new trucks. Odd.

Looks good.

The Ram plate come off from behind there are 4 screws that hold it in place, at least on the bezel with the center console. I know this because I removed mine to make a route for a microphone wire when I add my Nav radio for the bluetooth. Once you remove the bezel around the radio, heater etc, and disconnect all the wires then you will see how to remove that RAM sign. I had a mic from Coastal that puked on me so I had a hole right below the radio in that bezel and since the mic from the dealer is larger would not fit or look any good there so I found a HEMI tie clip and put some 2 way 3m tape and put it over the hole and it looks cool, I just need to figure out how to get my pictures from the phone without removing the card. Anyway take of the bezel and you will see the four screws I am talking about.

I got the ram plate off finally (thanks 72combo for the instructions) and got it started. I won't be able to finish it until next week though.
