Default BlowerMotorResistor

My number 2 setting for the blower quit working the other day, the other three still works. I know it's the blower motor resistor for I've changed the one on my 02 Jeep Liberty before also. Just wondering if anybody out there know of where in our 4th Gen Ram is it located at? The usual place is behind the glove box but I dont want to start taking it apart if i'm looking at a wrong part. I just need confirmation that that's where it's suppose to be. Thanks in advanced!

This site has the wiring diagrams for years 2010-2014

https://techauthorityonlinedemo.extr...ew/classic.htm

Once you get there, enter the year, model and engine. Since you did not specify your truck, I entered 2010, ram with a hemi. This will get you a window on the left side, click on the HVAC SYSTEM - MTC (for the manual version) and select diagram. When the rendition loads, look all the way down about the middle and you will see a box for the resistor assy. Click on the box once and you will get another window with 4 options, select "show location view". This will show you where it is within the dash.

Oh sorry I was just in a hurry. I have an 09 Ram 1500 ST Crew Cab. Obviously don't have an automatic climate. The website would not load. Thanks though

What system are you using? I'm using windows 7 and just clicked on the link of my post and it loaded for me. maybe try to cut and paste to your browser. I use mozilla, but I tried it with explorer and chrome and it loaded ok. Anyway, it looks like its over towards the glove box on the middle side of it. I don't know if just removing the center console and then following the switch wiring harness will get you there, may be worth a try.

Since I've had the dash apart on my 2010, I think I remember seeing it on the bottom of the blower motor.

Just looked at my 2014 and they've added a panel just below the lower glove box so I can't see up there. Nighttime here. Sorry.

Regards,
Dusty
