4WD won't Disengage
 

My dad has a 2009 6.7 Cummins with the 6 speed transmission the other day he put it into 4 lo to go down into a gulley not that he really needed to but he did it. Now he can't get it to disengage and return to 2 Hi. He has tried going forward and reverse letting up on the throttle and has driven it about a mile down the road trying to get it to release. He has also tried getting it rolling and shifting to neutral then selecting 2 hi with no success. This truck only has 16k on it and has had an easy life.

Any ideas are welcome as the warranty ran out last month. Thank You in advance.

You may want to try the 3rd Gen forum for more pertinent help. A 2009 with Cummins is not 4th Gen.
