I have a 2009 Ram 1500 that had the towing package added. Can anyone confirm the weight limits on towing for me? The bumper is stamped as if it was the normal towing limits (5000lb trailer, 500lb tongue weight). I was under the impression my weight limit is now 10,000lb but can't find any documentation to confirm that or the tongue weight.

first of all, you don't have a mega cab in a 1500. You need to tell us what kind of cab you have and the motor and differential gearing.

The tongue weight is whatever you can fit within the limits of the payload ratings.
