Usually you just turn the ignition to the "ON" position (without starting the engine)
then push your accelerator pedal completely down to the floor 3 full times.
Then turn the ignition switch "OFF", and the OC message should be cleared.
Dont be surprised if you have to do it a 2nd or 3rd time for it to clear.

SHould not have to turn they key off, with the truck in the on position not running and pressing the gas three times to the floor within 10 seconds should be enough, making sure to allow the gas pedal to return to the idle position each time.
Personally, I do not understand why automakers do this crap. Is it wrong to just have a reset button or a reset arrow in the EVIC? Maybe they do it hoping owners just take it to the dealer for the oil change.

Do not argue from a cost standpoint it makes alot of sense to have it done, the little you can save is not worth anyones time. However I factor in what are they really putting in my car, you really do not know, plus the other factor of who is driving my vehcile around. That makes it very worth my time. Putting in full syn plus a filter costs $40 if done properly (for a gasser), I suppose it could be a little higher in different parts of the country.
