Default 2011 Ram Laramie 4x4 Mega Cab

New to this forum and looking for info on adding RamBox to my babe. It wasn't available on the 2500 in 2011 when I bought it.

One of the original gen 4 guys looked into that a few years ago and found it to be extremely cost ineffective. Just about everything above the frame and behind the cab has to be replaced.

Figured as much. was looking around in junk yards to see if any wrecks that I could salvage the entire bed, but so far no luck. Guess I'll have to consider trading to get, although I really like what I got. Built it on line and ordered so got everything I wanted - well except for the gas mileage. Just got the Diablo Sport InTune, so will track what that does for me. I saw some of those tool boxes you install over the wheel well. Truck is really too tall to have std tool box

I'll track down the thread of the guy who tallied it up. There were some things in addition to the entire bed, like the gasoline filler tube etc.

Default RamBox

Here's what I got back from dcj

Thank you for your inquiry. The Ram-Box bed assembly is no longer available. I did a rough calculation of the parts necessary to convert your bed to a Ram-Box set up. The parts only would be ~ $3750.00 not including shipping. Let me know if you are interested in ordering.

Thanks,
Scott

So, guess I'll look at other options.
