Default 14 express model missing upper glove box

Anyone switch out the hole in the dash for a glove box with door? Wondering how much I'd have to take apart, and which parts I'd need to buy.

I too have the express model but a 2013 without the upper glove box, just an open space for storage. Thought I saw the part on ebay to make it a true glove box

If you google "ram express upper glove box" you'll find a bunch of threads, mostly on other boards on how to do it. I seem to remember there being a thread here where one guy was trying to re-add everything that the Express didn't come with. Not sure how that makes financial sense but there you go.

You couldn't store 229 bucks worth of change in there I bet!

That hole is about as useless. Anytime you push the gas pedal, everything falls out.

Default Easy

I did it on my '09 ST. Found one at a junkyard for $75. I think there was one bolt holding the pocket in. The glovebox had 2, the 2 holding the door on. They were a little tricky to get in but not too bad.

Ha, that reminds me - even change in the front center console has flown out and over the shifter area on a few hard accelerations. I wonder if the Chysler engineers ever expected that one?
