Hemi vs Cummins

I'm aware that a diesel is the best option for heavy towing.

That said, how would a diesel truck fare with a hemi in a drag race?

Assuming both trucks were in stock condition.

Not planning to race anybody, but just curious.

Bone stock, the Hemi by a long shot. I get rental trucks every week so I've driven them all. Now that said, you put a $1,000 into both the Hemi and the Diesel you've got yourself a different story.

Since the Diesel is only offered in a 2500+ ( cummins that is) then it would be pretty close between a hemi and a diesel 2500.. but if your talking stock
1500 hemi vs stock 2500 diesel then ya the hemi would walk it every time.
If your for some reason your talking about the new 3.0L in the 1500's no comparison the hemi destroys it..
