Headlights?

I am wanting to make my headlights and fogs match the leds on the valence Considering buying another set of stock lights and baking them to remove orange lens and possibly paint the shroud or I may just buy aftermarket headlights. My question is what would be your recommendations? Would I be better off baking and buying different bulbs? If so, what kind of bulbs? Or would you recommend just buying aftermarket lights? https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/dodgefo...d2dbddd120.jpg

Was looking for recommendations on which way to go on the lights

I've tried LED headlights before. I do not like them at all. Something about the light disturbs my brain.

So would you recommend HIDs or are there white halogen bulbs? Btw are you from cookeville??

bluebeast1562 08-14-2016 10:41 PM

At one point I put LED's in the fogs, did not like them, not as bright as the stock. Just my opinion.

If you decided to go with HID's, DDM Tuning and retroshop have quality kits.

I read somewhere that putting HIDs in a stock housing is a bad idea? I thought about going with the PIAA Xtreme Whites for this reason

Yes, HID's in stock housings are for ricers. Illegal and you will blind oncoming drivers. Proper way is to retrofit proper projectors.

Anyone tried the Supernova v2 LED Bulb for low beam in the regular 2015 Ram Headlight?

I may want to do this on my Ram.

i had the pia in the past. last about 1/2 as long as stock. the whiter light does not equal brighter light. just my 2 cents.

Look into Phillips extreme vision
The leds to me, look dim, but ymmv
I went through getting a entire set from retro shop with switchback in the turn signal, hid kit, and said...I'd rather buy a new smoker...
I bought Phillips extreme vision, and hella yellow fogs

Their stuff is top notch

RAMULAK 11-06-2016 07:18 PM

Nevermind....

tnvols123 11-07-2016 08:45 AM

These are what I went with. I found a guy locally who bought them but didn't put them in for fear of voiding his warranty . They still had the plastic on them and I grabbed them for 150. Probably not what anyone would recommend but they are close to what I wanted and they are bright
