Default Replacement tire size question

My Goodyear Wranglers are at the 50,000 mile mark and have worked well. Still enough tread to make it through one more winter.
I am able to purchase a set of take offs with 400 miles on them for a good price to replace the Goodyears.
The Goodyears are P275/60R20 spec and the take offs P275/55R20.
Is the lower profile on the newer tires going to make much difference in how the truck behaves? I'm guessing slightly lower ride height and speedometer reading slightly fast. As my truck is usually empty I don't see the need for a heavier sidewall truck tire.

Thoughts?

Only difference is about an inch in tire diameter. Speedometer will be off by around 5%. (over-estimating speed, you will actually be going slower than indicated speed) Softer sidewalls will likely change cornering behavior..... how much? Don't know. What are the load ranges of the tires?
