Default Considering debadging...

I am thinking of removing the "RAM 1500" badges from both of the front doors. I have never been a fan of a lot of lettering and/or numbering on my vehicles because it makes washing and waxing a pain in the ****. Any thoughts and/or pics of people that have done some RAM debadging of their own??

Is actually fairly common in the 2nd gen section. Most of the badges/emblems/etc are just held on by two-sided tape. So, scrape them off with something that won't damage paint. (I used a plastic putty knife), and use an 'eraser wheel' to get the rest of the adhesive off the paint. Careful though, it is all to easy to burn the paint, if you get to aggressive with it.

I would remove them,,,, both my sports have them removed, I think the letters look cheap, I also removed the hemi badge along with the 4x4 on the tailgates,,, Looks so much better and like you said makes waxing easier and washin as well

It's very easy to do . I used 80# braided fishing line to separate badge from glue/2 sides tape. If you pull straight out the glue comes almost 100% off .
