Default Clicking in steering column

Wanted to throw some information on here that may possibly help someone. I had clinking and popping in my steering wheel and the dealer said it was possibly the clock spring. Part was ordered and replaced. The mechanic said the replacement spring was possibly bad and ordered another one. It was doing the same thing, so after more investigation they found the intermediate steering shaft was at fault, ordered part, replaced and had the same issue. After further investigation, they found the whole steering was faulty. Ordered part, replaced, no more issues. Hope this post my help someone in the future.
