RE: auxilary back up lights

NOT SURE, BUT WHAT YOU CAN DO IS POP OUT THE TAIL LIGHT HOUSING AND CHECK TO SEE WHICH OF THE WIRES TO THE REVERSE BULB HAS POWER WHEN THE TRUCK IS IN REVERSE. OR CHECK TO SEE WHICH WIRE IS A GROUND, AND THE OTHER WIRE IS YOUR POWER .

RE: auxilary back up lights

the plan of attack i have is to put them on a sep. switch...this allows you to turn them on w/o having to put your vehicle in reverse...My boss has done the same thing because he plows and it helps. just an opinion...plus you dnt ahve to worry aobut finding the right wires...

I PLOW AS WELL & DID THE THE SAME THING. I HAVE A SANDER WITH QUICK CONNECT EVERYTHING. ALLL IN CAB CONTROLS. I JUST RAN A FUSED POWER TO A SWITCH. MINE ARE MOUNTED TO MY SANDER SO THEY COME OFF FOR THE SUMMER.

RE: auxilary back up lights

You've probably found it by now, but I just did mine and I thought the wire was purple with a black stripe. That's the wire I used for the relay control. It's only about a 16gage wire so I didn't trust it to carry the load from 2 55w lights.
