I have a 2013 Grand Caravan with the Rear VES (no nav or bluetooth). It came with a remote but it doesn't seem to do anything. I've actually tried two different remotes with different sets of batteries.

Does anyone know where the remote should be pointed? I'd assume it controls the head unit but maybe it gets the signal near the DVD player and relays the signal to the head unit. Maybe there is a fuse I can check?

I'm assuming that pressing the power button on the remote would do the same thing as pressing the power soft-key when on the Rear VES Controls screen. But pressing any of the remote buttons seems to have no effect.
