Chrysler aux power outlet wiring

Default Chrysler aux power outlet wiring

Ok this is my last bastion of hope. I have a Mopar switch bezel for my Jeep Cherokee that has two 12v outlets in the face. On the rear there are three prongs on each plug. The harness in my 97 Cherokee only has two. I am having a really hard time figuring out how to wire these plugs. Here is an illustration, new receptical-

So that's the problem. I have no idea what the third terminal on the new board does or which one is the extra one.


The Jeep boards have been no help whatsoever, probably beyond their understanding of lift kits and tires. This is an expensive part, one of the last ones for sale in the country and I don't want to melt the thing by putting power to the wrong terminals.
