I have a 2006 and 2005 Durango. Both vehicles have aftermarket radios (JVC). We had problems with this same issue for over a year and couldn't figure out how to fix it. We even took one back to the shop where it was installed and they couldn't figure it out. Finally, we fixed both of them by going to the JVC website, downloading radio updates and then updating the car stereo. We have never had an issue since (been well over a year+ now). Hopes this helps.
