RE: stock reciever

You dont have to take the radio out to hook an amp up. Jst use a line out converter such as this hooked up to the speaker leads. Then jst hook the amp turn-on to a switching 12-volt. No need to take the radio out.

i also want to hook up a 12 from my old truck, could i hook up the line out conv. to my rear channels, run RCA from there to the amp, spkr. wire from the amp to subs? i have a 2-channel rock-fosg. sub amp. and what about the remote wire?

Yes that is exactly how I would do it. The remote wire can jst be any wire that sends 12 volts when the key is turned on.

I think you'll be disappointed in the stock speakers if you put more power to them. Get some speakers too, even low end models will sound much better than stock.

I think you would be happy with the infinity speakers. This would be a nice little amp for those. http://www.cardomain.com/item/PIOGM3200T
