RE: Dodge makes switch to Charger as its COT model
ORIGINAL: DevilsReject
It's not really going to matter what they call it......wont look anything like it anyways....not to mention it's just a decal anymore...
I know. There is no real difference between the Intrepid, Charger, and Avenger NASCAR models, just the name they slap on there. I personally would rather them use the Avenger for the NASCAR model since the original Charger NASCAR model was in fact the model they sold at the dealership. I feel that using the same name they used on a true muscle car with a big block 426 Hemi engine, on this plastic decal, 358 cubic inch small block, platform that Chrysler didn't even design (I think its a Ford platform), is a disgrace to the NASCAR Charger nameplate. I still think they should run the upcoming pony cars, using the engines and transmission they offer.
RE: Dodge makes switch to Charger as its COT model
Well, NASCAR would not approve the hemi when Dodge "re-entered" the circuit (fear I suppose ) but with the other series supposedly running "production vehicles" seems like a good time to re-visit that question!
