Great Past Concept Car
This is an early 90's concept car called the Dodge Venom. It is a V6 front engine RWD 2 seater. Another in a long line of great affordable concepts that got swept under the carpet. Here are my pics of it from Columbus' auto show.

I remember that car very very well... seen it at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum. It was on the 1994 auto show circuit. Very nice car. Had a 3.5L V-6 w/ 244 horsepower and 250 ft-lbs of torque, had a 6-speed manual, rear wheel drive, and a top speed of 145mph. I always thought of it as the 1998 Dodge Intrepid meets 1970 Plymouth Cuda!

I remember it too... excellent car... got overshadowed by the ever awesome Viper. I have pics, but none are as nice as yours... thanks for sharing... it's good to relive the past... especially when it looks that damn good!

Yep, the Ram was redesigned and introduced... and I don't think Dodge knew how the Viper would be embraced by car lovers... instant classic. LOL!
I've got a picture printed in a newpaper when the Chrysler Museum openedand the Venom is in it... the picture had like over 50 million dollars of concept cars in it, all parked in front of the museum... very cool. LOL!

If Chrysler was smart they would have shown this car in 1995, instead. 1994 was a huge year for Chrysler, the all-new Ram was introduced, Dodge Viper GTS Coupe shared the auto show circuit w/ the Venom, new Dodge Ram van (redesigned) were intorduced, Dodge Intrepid was introduced, Dodge also was getting ready to take off the covers of their 1995 Ram Club Cab models, and Chrysler was getting ready to redo their minivan platform for 1996. One crazy year.

Found some great info on the Venom from Chrysler...

Perhaps you recall the days when Dodge Chargers and Plymouth Barracudas prowled main streets looking for an excuse to unleash their brawn. They used pure muscle to take on all challengers. Dodge Venom concept vehicle improves on those days by taking advantage of all that today’s technology has to offer. Venom – Yesterday’s Power, Today’s Sophistication!
