Sounds interesting. Hopefully, we will see the improvements before long. I don't know what they were thinking when they did the Sebring and what they were thinking when they paired up the engine and transmission offerings. I mean why would you only use a 235hp version of the 3.5L when you know that the competition from Nissan was already producing 250-260hp, let alone what Toyota had in the Avalon, which we all knew would be offered in the Camry. Also, why did they make the trunk so darn small?

You guys know what D stands for right?

Dub as in VDub

Let's expecta Dodge compact on the Golf platform with a diesel variant. It can happen, Dodge is still fixable.

I'm also glad to hear the two bastard child cars Sebring/Avenger are going away forever hopefully

Um, well... using other brands platforms isn't actually fixing Dodge. It's putting a band aid on it.

The D is what the midsize car segment is classified as. Vdub??? Quit smoking the crack. A VW platform? VW can't even make their own cars right now we should start using their junk?

No the platfrom that the sebring/avenger is on is actually a shared project with mitsu. Its actually a very good platform. The main problems that those two cars has is crappy interiors, and the sebring needs all new sheet metal. It should look like a mini 300.

I hope they fix them soon, I'd like to get back to work.

Considering the reception the Sebring and Avenger have gotten lets hope they just reskin it as a new design and don't tell the customers about anything in common with sebring/avenger

The Avenger does not look bad. It is a smaller Charger, which was a good car for Dodge. The thing that did not make sense was the fact the the current Charger is near the end of life and needs a redesign, so why would they mimic adesign that needs refreshed?? That was a bad decision.

Ok ok, then well be realistic. It'll be a Nissan Versa based Dodge
