Just read this weekend that GM has dropped offers according to buying dodge!

What did you guys hear?

 

i heard nothing would be nice if it was true merger = bad chrysler on its own = good

 

What were they going to buy it with? Monopoly money?

 

Probably taxpayers money. I have heard they are trying to get the government to bail them out because they have no money.

 

wll then why wouldnt get govt just buy it from cerebus then make it a public company sell shares to the public, it would make more sense IMO (unless they laread have done this im not sure tho)

yeah there is already a thread about this that is just as useful. basically Chrysler called it off with nissan, GM and is now talking with Hyundai. that is as much as i know,
