The UAW/CAW seems like they would rather lose it all than to give up a little. Makes no sense to me, A bit less income is much better than no income!!!!!!

Please don't lump the CAW and UAW together. They are apples and oranges. As far as I know, the UAW stopped what they were doing to help out the situation with the CAW. I heard they had a contract proposal ready but the CAW crap took over.

I am a UAW member and yes I am willing to do whatever it takes to help save the company but noone is down here asking me what I would give up. Let's hope they don'y screw this up.

If any one of the conditions the government has mandated does not happen then it won't matter anyway.

Right now the situation with Canada and the Banks refusal to give an inch are the biggest problems. Not the UAW.

Chrysler has threatened to pull all operations from Canada if need be.

Glad to hear, when all of this mess started, The UAW didn't want to give up squat and that ticked me off. I lost a job of 18 years and would have gladly gave up some to keep it!!
