nope, the trucks are the ones that are 345hp, 345hp/375lb-ft for the trucks and 340hp/390lb-ft for the cars, which is the reverse of what you would expect actualy since the trucks need the torque more.

For the extra $3,000, you get 10 extra horsepower (340 hp in the LX cars, 345 in the trucks) also get the Performance Suspension package that is an option on the Charger R/T that includes SRT type sport seats, firmer shockers, sportier steering ratio, and stickier tires with a faster speed rating. You're also paying for the special paint and decals, and of course, for the Daytona R/T name.

They had a yellow Charger Daytona in Las Vegas at Mopars at the Strip and it wasn't getting a very good response from the attendees. They made two passes on the drag strip and it ripped off a "blistering" best 14.9, not exactly stellar numbers to show off the car. I seriously think the Charger's in trouble - especially at the price range mentioned here. I heard a lot of talk from people reluctanly ready to jump ship to buy the new Mustang. Now those of you who are fans of the new Charger, don't get your panties in a bunch, I'm just reporting what I saw and heard.
