Some good numbers
While looking through the headlines of my stock portfolio today I came across an article about DCX and the recent employee pricing numbers.
I know some people have been referring to the "Big Three" as GM, Ford and Toyota, so it was nice to see this tidbit of information:
What I am looking at is DCX posting July sales of nearly 45,000 more units sold in the US than Toyota. That is nice to see.
FWIW, DCX stock has gained nearly 15% in the past week, hopefully someone on the inside knows something the public doesn't yet.

# Toyota's (TM: news, chart, profile) U.S. sales reached a record 216,417 cars, trucks and minivans -- a 12% increase from July 2004.
# DaimlerChrysler (DCX: news, chart, profile) reported U.S. sales rose to 260,937 vehicles, as new vehicles like the Dodge Charger sedan helped drive demand.

RE: Some good numbers
I'm glad to see us higher than toyota again, but if this rosy picture is true, why is my plant getting another 2 weeks off? Several plants in the detroit area have been down. How do sales go up if production goes down? Hmm.... Oh yeah I'm sure the chargers 5000 units really made the difference!
