Question of the Week 2014 Jeep Cherokee – Love It or Kill It With Fire?

It's hideous. I don't like it. One of the ugliest vehicles ever made, bad move by Chrysler. There's being different, and being stupid with the design. Whoever signed off on this should be fired, as well as whoever drew it. And anyone else that thought this was a good idea.
Now, from the front tires back is good. I think it's going to be a good vehicle, sounds like it does just fine off road. But that frontend is awful, just awful. Makes a Pontiac Aztek look good, and that says it all.

why didnt they just simply bring back the XJ as it was? They had a winner there and they had to go and kill it. Cherokee and GC are now the same vehicle it appears from the doors back; except for front clip. why have same brand with 2 models so close to being the same?

Doesn't look any worse than the other 50 so called SUV models out there. I would never buy one but that's because I already have a 'lifted wagon' (Jeep Patriot) to pick up the groceries and kids from school. I guess I don't really hate it or like it for that matter, but the reason I picked the Patriot was for the round lights and box like styling similar to the much older Cherokees, so this one would have been a pass for me.
