The Challenger could soon be the smallest Dodge car

That title sounds crazy, but with the Dodge Dart slated to come to an end - the Challenger could soon be the smallest car offer by the Dodge brand.

I don't see this as being wise. People act upon current situations and impulse. They do not forecast the future. Just look at the housing market crash. Because gas prices are hovering around $2/gal, people see their current situation as affording gasoline for these monstrosities. When the time comes for gas prices to shoot back up to the $4 mark which we all know can happen in an instant, people will lose thousands in value on these cars and be hunting for the more economical cars such as the Dart.
I agree, get rid of the 200, but they should keep the Dart for more reasons than fuel economy. A lot of younger teen drivers and older folks, do not want to drive bigger cars. Also, the expense is there too boot. The larger cars cost more.

Chrysler should keep the Dart regardless. It will actually be advertisement and market share for them when the gas prices do rise as people will swarm towards them and the used prices will rise and bring a lot of people into the dealerships to buy brand new one's.

All brands build more of what sells to continue. They all chase the consumer for the money. Hang on, because this ride is going to be a doozey.

That's a stupid mistake. They want to brand engineer instead any partner with someone.
