Looks good, but I'm not so sure on the antilock brakes.

I like the look of this. Now if they would offer that 4 cylinder deisel engine, It would make it more sellable to me.

wow a 6 speed tranny. i'm glad thay still have the solid axle, they would lose money in the extreme 4x4 market.

I guess "It's a JEEP thing." While I kinda dig Jeeps I can't for the life of me figure out why people are willing to pay so much for the Wrangler. A friend of mine payed $28,000 for a Rubicon. Now that's a lot of money no matter how you look at it! There's no way these things are worth that kinda money in my opinion. These are a very limited use vehicle. I'm not going to plunk down 28 large for something and then go out and beat it against rocks and trees and I can run to the store in the wife's Neon for a lot less. As for any other uses I really can't think of any. I certainly wouldn't drive one for any distance as I've grown fond of my kidneys. But to each his own. If this is what some people want more power to them! I'm saving my $28,000 for a different 2 door!;)

I'm happy that they are going to use the 3.8L instead of the 3.7L. The 3.8L will probably offer better low end grunt than the 3.7L would because the 3.8L is a OHV and the 3.7L is a SOHC. The 3.3/3.8L engine line is a very reliable engine line and it should not disappoint the 4.0L I6 fans in terms of reliability. I would tend to think that the 3.8L would possibly get better fuel mileage than the 4.0L since it is noted for being lighter and it is a much newer design. I hope allpar is right that the 3.8L might replace the 3.7L in other vehicles. What do you think?

A wrangler with a minivan engine. That just don't sound right. I think the 3.7 would be a better choice.
