RE: 2008 Chrysler Town & Country & Dodge Grand Caravan
I was reading the engine outputs for this model. The 3.3L is going to produce 170hp & 205 ft-lbs of tq, the 3.8L is going to produce 198hp & 230 ft-lbs of tq, and the 4.0L is going to produce 240hp & 253 ft-lbs of tq. Why do they keep lowering the output? Even if the 3.8L is a little bit peaky (which I think it felt fine with the 215hp & 245 ft-lbs of tq, it supposively is going to have the new 6-speed which will make better use of a peaky engine's power. The 4.0L with the 255hp & 265ft-lbs of tq would blow away the competition, now it will just be just slightly ahead.
Oh well, I like the exterior looks except for the rear but that's okay. It's what you have in front that matters. The interior looks sportier, but my only concern is it looks like the materials might be made of harder plastics instead of the nice soft stuff they have in the current models.

RE: 2008 Chrysler Town & Country
ORIGINAL: ViperGTS
A few things
Negatives:
-The black B-bar needs to be less visible.
-B-bar black may fade
-Door handles should look sleek. Possibly 2 handles coming together to look like 1.
-Rims, are they 14's? They look very small.
-Rear bumber looks like a saggy old butt
-Front end looks blunt
-Where are the mirror turn signals on the Chrysler???
-Too much orange turn signal for the Dodge, let's see clear
-Wtf retracting antenna on hood
Positives:
-Aggresive hoods
-Stance
-Rim choice OK for minivan
-Maybe the roof will offer a large window?
-HID for Chrysler?
-Engine
-Styling

RE: 2008 Chrysler Town & Country
Saw it today, and I wasn't impressed. It has a very "import" look to it. Looks like we are copying off of them. Instead of the other way around. Sad to say my wifes 06 will be the last chrysler minivan we own for a while. On the other hand we both really liked the new gmc acadia crossover. I think we will get one when the lease is up.
