The R/T still sounds great to me.

Don't forget about the rumored (by dodge.com itself) 300 hp SRT, 6 speed turbo AWD vesion

check the R/T box and pay the minimum price of $23,545
It's a great price, but it's stilla car that looks like it was pieced together with all the ugly cars in the world combined into one...

Remember this is also the outlet that thought the world of the crappy Chevrolet Malibu from 1997 and hated the 2000 Impala. I think they also prefered the Taurus to the Impala and Intrepid; therefore, they have no taste. The funny thing is the outlets are flip-flopping on that I4. Some say it is quite and smooth, others say its loud and unrefined. Its the same way with the new 62TE, some say its quick shifting, others say its slow. The I4 would be among the best in class if they would offer the 62TE with it. The problem is the competition offers 5-speeds which help utilitze the power better to offer better acceleration and better fuel economy.

Also an outlet that can't keep their engines straight should be the last to criticize someone else (the 2.7L is the DOHC and the 3.5L is the SOHC, not the other way around). Morons at Edmunds! I agree they didn't do enough on this model. Detuning the 3.5L was a huge mistake, but from what I think Car and Driver said it does 0-60 in 6.8 secs. It isn't the fastest but that isn't bad either. I hope they offer a more powerful engine before long. I like the styling. If Toyota or Honda had the "Chill Zone" they would be obsessed with it.

It doesn't look as bad as when I first got a glimpse of it, but to me it looks like a shrunken Charger with fender flares and a bad nose job. It may however turn out to be a nice car.

+1 hated it in pics., on the road it looks ok.

Wierd part about that article is it looks like he wrote 90% of it ahead of time. He really says little other than the engines. 5-6 BS statements about SNL? Come on, sounds like he's writing for pop culture, not edmonds.

As far as Edmunds is concerned, if it ain't a Toyota or Honda...it's crap.

Its the same way with C&D, MW, and Motor Trend also. Most of the car mags are against any of the Domestic companies. Every so often they give a eh; to one or two domestic models, but they are in love with the Asian makes.
