1970 Hemi Cuda
Hi All! New to the forum.....Interested in a Red 70 Hemi Cuda....High dollar car! $300K+ Where can I look for finding out if it's "THE REAL DEAL?" Any help is appreciated!
Thanks 2 Hellcats |
First look at the vin, The fifth digit should be a "R". Look at the K frame underneath There should be a triangle shaped piece of metal welded to it on the bottom. This is a skid plate it was on all hemi cars. The owner should have the build sheet for it that will tell you everything it left the factory with. The code #'s will be on the fender tag also along with the last #'s of the vin.
This may help... http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=17 |
Does the trans (4-speed) have VIN on it? Thanks for info!

I know the older drive trains did(pre 1970) but not sure when they stopped. If it's a real 4 speed car it will have the dana 60 rear. At least that's the way it would have left the factory.
