does that sound right?[&:] |
RE: carb
You should have between a 750cfm and an 850cfm carburator on most any street 440 combo, a 650 will be restrictive on that large of an engine.

RE: carb
ya i know that but the 650 is all i have that wrks right now.....and its kinda still my new car so like anyonei gotta go show it off at school....i really want to fix the carb though

RE: carb
OK, is this a 440 HP motor or a 350 hp out of a New Yorker? The 350 hp motors had 520 cfm Holleys in 1970 so I'm thinking thats what you got. The 440 HP motors had 750 cfm AVS Carters.

RE: carb
no its a 440 but the idiot before me f***** up the 750 that was on it so he put a 650 because it was all he has......today im going tojegs to try and buy a 800cfm carb....but how much will this affect gas mileage?
|
RE: carb
We know it's a 440, but what is the HP on it? What year is the motor?
|
RE: carb
i already had alot of trouble with this question....but im pretty sure its close to 500 but they gave me hell cuz i havent had time between school and work and working on the car to get it dynoed.....so how much would it affect the gas mileage to switch from a 650 to an 800

RE: carb
