Default Tonneau cover- Re-staining vinyl on tonneau covers ?

My cover is in great working ,condition, except that the vinyl has chalking, so rather than buying a new one, I'm wondering if staining is a better alternative ?
I'm looking to chat with anyone who has stained their tonneau cover.
What product did you use, how was the application, how well it worked, how long has it lasted etc......?

SEM makes a lot of vinyl dies and paint. Not sure if they make anything for a tonneau cover. I would call your local SEM dealer and ask. You will have to prep the cover before applying, This is key to good adhesion. This will applied using a spray gun so if painting is not your thing take it to somebody.
