Default Issues with Login

This is a problem on many vBulletin sites that I assume updated as not all vBulletin sites have this problem. I noticed DF has the same problem. When you login, it redirects you, but doesn't always say you are logged in. In addition, some people cannot even log in. To get around this, uncheck the "Remember Me" box.

Here is a discussion on another forum that covers the problem in more detail:

Being related to this topic --

Login 1x, then every click thereafter you are logged out.

Clicking the _Remember Me_ Checkbox at Login will resolve this...so far.

I think an Administrator enabled a plugin that enforces this feature, at least there was one for this version of vB when I facilitated one. Got rid of it b/c of this unneccessary symptom and don't understand it's intended use, unless there are browser cookie issues of particular users.

I'm not going to lie, it's extremely annoying and I find that it's reducing my need to browse the forums. It's too big a hassle to relog every single time I want to search. Whether it be New Posts, to even going to my control panel. It's ridiculous.

*Edit*

I even had to log in twice just to make this post.
