5.2 engine overhaul in ram 1500
#2
Anything is possible, but why would you want to?
And what I mean by that is how are you planning on honing cylinders, replacing cam/crank bearings, rear main seal, etc. etc. etc. If you're pulling the cam, you'll need the radiator, condenser, and everything else out of the truck. If you're replacing the rear main, you'll need to pull the tranny. For everything else, you're going to be leaning over the fenders and core support.
It's far easier to do it on an engine stand.
And why post in the Cummins section? Might have better luck with the general 2nd gen section.
