2011 Tire Size Questions
Hello everyone,
So, I'm currently running some LT285/70/17 Cooper ATP's on my 2011 Ram Crew Cab 2500 4x4 Cummins. These tires look good and ride well but this is the largest tire Cooper ATP's offer for a 17 inch wheel. I'm looking to replace these tires in the next few months and would like to go to a larger size tire and possibly more aggressive but still keep the factory steel 17" wheels.
So my question, what is the largest tire folks have been able to run on the stock wheels without having to get a lift for the 2500 Cummins Ram 2500's? My truck has a leveling kit on it or at least I think it does because the front and the rear of the truck looks completely level.
Thanks for your help!
Ken

This is hot discussion on the other board I'm on, like HammerZ said, just level it out and you can easily fit these 35's for stock Cummins. You can't go wrong with STT as for durability and wear tolerance.
FOR 17" STOCK (OR OTHER) RIMS:
Toyo Tires Open Country A/T II 35x12.50R17LT
Nitto Trail Grappler M/T 35x12.50R17LT
Nitto Terra Grappler G2 35x12.50R17LT
Pro Comp XTREME A/T LT315/70R17
Kumho Road Venture MT 35x12.50R17
Firestone Destination M/T LT315/70R17
Cooper Discoverer STT 35x12.50R17
Hankook Dynapro M/T 35x12.50R17
Interco IROK ND LT315/70R17
General Grabber 35x12.50R17LT
