Upgrade transmission?

Default Upgrade transmission?
i have a stock 6 speed trans on my 2006 5.9l. I just added a H&S Mini Maxx programmer and I am sorta scared to put it on performance bc the trans wasn’t built for that kind of power. I don’t know much about transmissions. What do y’all recomend I should jump up to while keeping it a manual. And how soon should I look into getting it

Wow. I don't think the NV5600 will even handle the torque the stock motor puts out...... Interesting. No clue what you would have to go to for an upgrade.

Im thinking he should have the G56 since it’s an ‘06. Either way the stock clutch will slip before he even gets close to hurting his trans. OP, is reverse to the right and up or to the left and down?

I think OP needs to tell us what he’s going to be doing with the truck before he drops $6k on a transmission. Both the NV5600 and the G56 can hold considerable power in stock form. They can definitely hold up against a tuner
