Default Question about MPG

Hey everyone!

I have a question about my miles per gallon. I have a 2010 Dodge Avenger R/T and recently moved to the city. Before I was getting up to 30 MPG and since moving to the city where I only drive a couple of miles to work, it has dropped significantly to 15-16 MPG. I had a cold air intake system installed shortly after purchasing the car. Can anyone tell me what might be going on? Thanks for all your help!

Driving style has changed. Cold air intake has no affect on anything. Maybe try a tune up. Other than that, it is what it is.

What would a tune up consist of? It doesn't seem to run any differently and there hasn't been any warning lights come on. I guess it just doesn't make sense to me that the mileage would have that significant of a drop.

Thanks!

Stop and go traffic takes a toll on mileage. Tune up? Plugs, air filter, fuel system cleaner, etc.. check your owners manual.
