Default 07 Dodge Caliber rear strut replacement

Can anyone give me an idea of how to get at the top portion of the rear struts? Do I have to remove the inside panels?

Welcome to DF
Rear Suspension/SHOCK ABSORBER, Suspension, Coil-Over/Removal
REMOVAL

NOTE: Before proceeding.
1. Remove the interior rear quarter trim panel.

2. Remove the two nuts securing the shock assembly to the body bracket.

3. Raise and support the vehicle.

4. Remove the wheel mounting nuts, then the rear tire and wheel assembly.

5. Remove the shock lower mounting nut and bolt.

6. Lower the shock assembly out of the body bracket and lift out over rear suspension.

Hope this helps, I will be moving your post to the caliber section.
