High speed blower motor

The high speed on the heater blower motor won't work. I replaced the resistor and it still doesn't work.I think it is the switch. I can't find a wiring diagram or a service manual for the 2010 Dodge Caliber to help me with this problem.

The 2007 service manual is up above in the Read First section of this forum for a free download. I don't know if the control wiring is the same on the switch since the 2010 went to the servo driven blend doors instead of the cable actuated system of the 07-09 cars. Sounds like the switch since the resistor pack is usually bypassed in the high position.

Yeah, usually your problem is going to be the switch. I believe it is the whole control module in your case.

Switch

Yeah, it probably is the switch. It could be a burnt wire also. I will look at them when I put the new switch in.

Let us know how it goes.

I haven't looked at the wiring diagram, but my van used a relay for full voltage, bypassing the resistors when in highest speed fan. Maybe relay is toast?
