2007 Caliber.


it was running Friday after noon, wife said she felt a small power loss.
(IDLES SMOOTH) i drove it Friday night i noticed the power loss. Saturday caliber started up just fine still had small power loss (IDLES SMOOTH).

Sunday morning i changed the plugs and Airfliter, well the caliber just cranked over no start. i see spark and i smell gas. i pulled the fuel line of the rail its shooting out gas strong steady stream.

parts replaced.

Crankshaft sensor.
CamShaft sensor.


it ran saturday because i drove it to run a errand it seemed to be ok.

never driven hard.

 

The first thing I would do would be scan for codes. Post them up when you get them.

 

the timing chain is stretched it jumped time.
